The staff at Hotel San Polo are understanding and friendly. The rooms are outstanding with convenient decor and clean bathrooms.- The hotel is in a marvelous location near an old Roman church and just a 5-minute walk from the center of Salamanca.- Great customer care and parking are available on the premises.- There is excellent wifi at the hotel.

Good hotel for a good price, 2 steps from Salamanca Cathedral. The hotel can be seen from the tower of the cathedral... Very stylishly built into the ruins of San Polo Church, yet modern, cosy and beautiful... Rooms are spacious, clean. It's true that not all rooms have a declared landmark view. Rooms on one side (ours) overlook Paseo del Rector Esperabé, with lively traffic. . On Via Paseo del Rector Esperabé, you can park your car for free. The room has everything you need. Bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub... There's a small fridge - bar. In the closet there was a dress from the previous tenants, or a gift from the hotel (but we do not need ...). That's a great location. Modest but nourishing breakfast. Polite and courteous staff... There was no heat on our arrival, so there was no problem with the room cooling.

Disgusting wi-fi... There are only 3 desk sconces in the room - it's very dark. There is only 1 free socket, if you need more, you will have to give up lighting.

staff is efficient, helpful and attentive to the guests, they remember my previous stay, it is grateful that they are this close because it is a tip to repeat on subsequent occasions. location is also a fort for this hotel because it is in the heart of the historical center, views from some of the rooms are extraordinary, real luxury to look out the window and enjoy the wonderful plan of the cathedral and wall that keeps in this front the garden of Calixto and Melibea. At night it is even more magical and impressive. it is also fair to mention the ruins of the church of San Polo from which this hotel is built. Recommended

The minibar. I'd like to think it was deteriorated, because the interior shelves were missing. On the other hand, maybe we'll get it by chance, it was quite difficult to open the door because it didn't fit well inside the furniture, hence it was so far back

The location was marvellous and stunning, you can visit a great museum by walking. I had OUTSTANDING food for breakfast with many 'light' products.

hotel in general is fine. room is simple and as it indicates it is a 3* hotel. It would be convenient to give it a touch, to go beyond the basics. outside of the hotel is better than the inside. location is good. It's near the main square and center. With the price it has and how simple/basic it is inside, they should include breakfast at least. As information to bear in mind, from the lodging they recommended us the parking that they have arranged and with a more economic price being clients of the hotel. Parking with bad conditions to park. Later we realized that there was a parking lot closer, much more comfortable to park and more economical. (The best located parking lot with better conditions and price is the: Parking Reyes de España). It is impossible to park in the street, as it is all blue zone.

The weekday offer was unbeatable. Good location and views of the cathedral. Professional receptionist.

It was the first time (with the exception of the Parador de Melilla) that we stayed in a three-star hotel. offer was worth it. only problem was with the maid on the third floor:. 1. cleanliness of the room was absolutely disappointing. From the first day there was sand on the floor of the room that forced you to shake your feet every time you got into bed or put on your socks. On the third day I looked under the bed and found that the floor was full of wool and various dirt. We said so at reception. I returned, wool that had accumulated under the bed had partially disappeared, cleaning continued to leave much to be desired. There were three more reasons for complaint:. 2º. floor maid made an atrocious noise to clean the rooms, moving beds, chairs and tables without any consideration and hitting every object she touched when she returned it to its place. From our room you could identify every object she handled. this from early in the morning, most of the guests, at least we, are still resting. These objects (telephone, TV remote control, etc. are going to suffer an accelerated deterioration due to such manipulation. Same thing in the bathroom. 3º. first day of stay the waitress opened the door of our room before 10:00h, simultaneously knocking on the door and without waiting for an answer. action of knocking and opening was, I insist, simultaneous. She said "excuse me", her voice did not denote concern or regret. 4º. last day he did exactly the same at 12:03h. He knocked and opened the door simultaneously. My partner was already with the suitcases at the door to leave. waitress told him, in a reproachful tone and loud voice, that it was already 12:05h and that we had to be out of the room. We will not return to this hotel, not because we did not like it; simply because in Salamanca there are many exceptional hotels.

The queen room had a unique design for the interiors. The bathroom had a jacuzzi.- The hotel's central location is amazing, close to the cathedral, main sights, attractions, and the historic center.

The location of the hotel was excellent - so close to everything. We booked room only so didnt have the breakfast in the hotel but did have evening meal on one occasion - beautiful food and very reasonably priced. ( the receptionist got the menu translated into english for us) a shaded courtyard to sit and read with a cool drink - the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definately stay here again.

Location is outstanding with access to the beautiful old quarter of the city and views of the cathedral from our bedroom window. Hotel facilities are good for the price and staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel has no parking but there is a public car park within 5 minutes walk. Overnight parking cost was around 18 euros.

Appreciated this brand-new hotel: lovely food and lovely staff. Our guest room was modern with an excellent view on the cathedral. The room had an impressive design. The location was unbeatable and phenomenal, around 10-15 minutes walk from an 18th - century baroque public square. We found it in a lovely area near to the bar / restaurant, historic ruins and Salamanca already in other place
